LDK Solar Signs Module Supply Contracts

XINYU CITY, China and SUNNYVALE, Calif., July 13, 2011 - LDK Solar Co., Ltd. ("LDK Solar") (NYSE: LDK), a leading vertically integrated manufacturer of photovoltaic products, today announced it has signed contracts to supply solar modules to two leading electric power companies in China. The first sales contract is for 30 megawatts (MW) of solar modules in the Qinghai province to be delivered in August of 2011. The second contract is for 5 MW of solar modules in the Jilin province to be delivered in the first half of 2012.
